I am Eleftheria Bikou, a Psychologist and Psychotherapist, with a specialisation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I completed my studies in Psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University and subsequently obtained an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from University of Strasbourg. My training in CBT forms the foundation of my therapeutic approach.
I have experience providing individual psychotherapy, working with people within a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship. I also have professional experience in a clinical setting in the UK, where I worked with individuals with acquired brain injuries, supporting their rehabilitation and adjustment to the changes that such an experience may bring to their lives.
My therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a structured and collaborative form of psychotherapy that focuses on the connection between our thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
Through the therapeutic process, we explore patterns of thinking and behaviour that may contribute to maintaining a difficulty and work together towards more helpful ways of managing it.
Therapy is adapted to the needs and goals of each individual, with active participation from both sides.
Individual sessions provide a safe and confidential space where we can explore the difficulties you may be experiencing and work towards the goals that are important to you.
Sessions are also available online via video call, providing the opportunity to access psychotherapy regardless of where you are located.
In-person sessions take place in Athens, in a calm and appropriately designed space.
